Simply put, a taquiza is a taco party similar to a backyard barbeque. A taco buffet menu that’s great for casual dinners or entertaining.
At a taquiza you wait for taco fillings to be prepared with a freshly made tortilla in hand and choose from a spread of condiments to assemble the perfect taco.
We provide a whole Mexican experience offering you a selection of classic Mexican cocktails, excellent quality Tequilas, Mezcals and a curated selection of local and imported Wines and Boutique Mexican Beers. Ask us for our full menu.
We are Liquor Licensed and all our experienced bartenders are RSA certified.
You can rest assured that you and your guest are in safe hands. We understand how important food safety is and ensure that everything we do is fully compliant with food safety regulation bodies (the NSW Food Authority, Restaurant & Catering Association Australia and council regulations) and has public liability insurance.
We wholly accept the aims and provisions of the Food Standards Code, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Quality Standards, all of which are reflected in our business practices.
All our Chefs are required to hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Because we want to provide an exceptional experience and service, our expert chefs personally service most of our Catering Services. Our unique experiences involve our chefs personally serving your guests to offer only the freshest and highest quality food. Most of our services include setting up, closing down and two hour of service from our chefs. Additional time will be charged by hour.
We can provide Waiters and Bar Staff on request and their services are charged by the hour. All our waiters and bar staff are RSA certified.
Booking confirmation in writing or via email will be requested from you, for the provision of services relating to the event by Taqiza, the service provider. This booking confirmation will become Contract between the Client and Taqiza. Once this confirmation is received a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total fee for the Event must be received by Taqiza within 3 working days via bank transfer, cheque or cash.
The remaining 60% of the total fee for the Event must be received by Taqiza, from the Client, a minimum of 3 days prior to the Event date unless alternative arrangements are made with Taqiza management.
Reductions in the numbers of guests of more than 20% of the agreed total in the Contract will not be accepted within 7 working days of the Event unless agreed by the Client and Taqiza management. Increases in the number of guests may be accepted up to 1 day before the Event, with the additional cost (for the additional guests) to be paid as per arrangements made with Taqiza management. In the absence of written or email confirmation from the Client, payment of the deposit will be considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client.
